Plain language, honestly kept. This page will be reviewed by an attorney before the event; until then, here is exactly what we do.

What we collect

When you join the list we store your email, an optional mobile number, the page you signed up from, and basic campaign tags like UTM parameters and the referring site. We store a salted hash of your IP address for abuse prevention, never the raw address.

What we use it for

One thing: keeping you posted on the Chocolate City Classic, including first call when team registration opens. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with sponsors.

Email and texts

Every email includes a working unsubscribe link. Texts are a separate, optional consent, and you can reply STOP at any time. See the SMS terms.

Where it lives

Your information is stored with Supabase (Postgres) with access locked to our team, and processed by our email and SMS providers solely to deliver the messages you asked for.
